February 18, 2012 Adele for Vogue

When Adele first sent records from her debut album to radio stations, rumour has it (no pun intended), that she didn't include a picture with it. She's maintained since then that her image isn't important, her music is what people should focus on. She's a musician and not a cookie cutter pop star and I've always respected her for that. Even after dominating the charts all over the world, she hasn't succumbed to the pressure of the show biz industry and lost four stone and had her teeth done - she's been herself, and looked amazing doing so.
I've liked watching the incline of fashion shoots with Adele in the last year, which is arguably the most successful yet, but this editorial for Vogue shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott is exceptionally beautiful. I love the photography, the styling and I think Adele looks stunning.
