A Final Goodbye

Rod was the personification of a good nature, with a seemingly endless supply of love, kindness and generosity. Good - that's what he was to the core. It's still so strange to think that's he been gone almost a year now, so saying a final goodbye to him today was both comforting and bizarre. On a fresh day like today, with a cleansing breeze and a bright blue sky, Stu felt that it was right to spread his Dad's ashes. So we headed to the beach and said goodbye, watching as he drifted in the breeze towards the sea. Bye, Rod - miss you always.
