An amalgamation of my most consuming creative passions; Positively Melancholy is literally a map of the left side of my brain. By 'me', I mean Stephanie Lynn: photographer, writer, fashion addict.

To My Bones

  • Glasses - ASOS
  • Top - All Saints
  • Jacket - All Saints
  • Leggings - Black Milk
  • Trainers - Nike Vintage Blazers

I actually had my fingers crossed this morning on my way down to check the post - no kidding, I actually crossed my fingers on both hands - in the hope that the newest addition to my leggings collection - the Black Milk Leg Bones - would have arrived. So when I spotted the slick, black package on the mat, I accidentally squealed. Fortunately, there was no one around to hear me.

The small amount of ground around our building has provided for me well in terms of places to do my outfit photos, but now that we have a car, we’re in search of new, interesting places to go. (See previous post for definition of ‘interesting’). We found a neglected, broken down old MFI warehouse and slipped behind the back, imagining the more industrial backdrop would bode well for us. Due to the potential illegality of this, I was somewhat jumpy, which I think is the reason for the frowns; although that may have been the freezing cold and humungous rain drops from the cover above that incessantly abused my head.
